Claim Exceptions
- Natural Variation and Imperfections: It's important to note that natural materials used in our furniture, such as wood and marble, may have inherent variations and imperfections. These characteristics are a testament to the organic and unique nature of the materials.
- Gradual Damages: While our claims program addresses issues related to materials, workmanship, and transit damage, it does not cover damages that occur gradually over time.
- Cleaning, Care, and Repair Advice: Regardless of warranty coverage, we are dedicated to providing helpful cleaning, care, and repair advice to all our customers whenever possible.
- Intended Use: For the warranty to apply, the product must have been used for its intended purpose and undergone normal use. Products are not covered by warranty if used for commercial purposes, has been modified, or if the defect has been caused by excessive wear and tear.
Manufacturer's Warranty
At Otto, we stand behind the quality of our products. All our furniture comes with a manufacturer's warranty that covers defects in materials and workmanship. Here are the key details:
Warranty Coverage
Our manufacturer's warranty provides coverage for a period of one year from the date of delivery. During this time, if you experience any issues with your Otto piece, please inform our team at help@shopotto.ca, and we will take appropriate action.
Solutions Offered
Depending on the nature of the problem, we will organize one or more of the following solutions:
- Replacement Parts: If specific components are affected, we will arrange for replacement parts to be sent to you.
- Repairs: In some cases, professional repairs may be necessary, and we will assist in coordinating the repair process.
- Complete Replacements: If the issue cannot be adequately resolved through repairs or replacement parts, we will facilitate a complete replacement of the product.
Warranty Terms and Conditions
- Non-Transferable: Please note that our warranties are non-transferable and apply only to the original purchaser.
- Intended Use: Warranties are valid when products are used for their intended purpose and exhibit normal use.
- Exclusions: Our warranty does not cover defects or damage resulting from negligence, misuse, accidents, abnormal use, modifications, or commercial purposes.
Claims Procedure
Email us at help@shopotto.ca with your claim, including photos of the defects and your order number.
Limitations and Exceptions
While we stand by the quality of our products, there are certain limitations and exceptions to our warranty, including:
- Improper Care: Damage caused by using detergents, abrasives, or harsh cleaning agents is not covered.
- Negligence and Accidents: Damage resulting from negligence, abuse, normal wear and tear, accidents, burns, cuts, scratches, tears, scuffs, watermarks, indentations, or damage from pets is not covered.
- Outdoor Use: Our warranty does not apply to products used outdoors unless specifically stated otherwise.
- Unauthorized Modifications: Any modifications made to the product by the consumer or unauthorized parties will void the warranty.
Please note that this warranty covers manufacturing defects and is not applicable to items marked as 'AS-IS' or any form of display items at the time of purchase.
Resolution of Complaints: Any decisions regarding complaints related to defects or materials will be at Otto's discretion. Repaired or replaced items under warranty will be covered for the remainder of the original warranty period only.
